As part of our Legal Awareness Program and our advocacy to provide technical knowledge to people who dispense justice,  the Justice Cecilia Muñoz Palma Foundation, Inc. (JCMPF) will be holding its 2nd Quarterly Lecture/Training on Counseling Techniques and Practices for Children Undergoing/Facing Court Trials

It is scheduled on June 20, 2018 (Wednesday) from 1 – 5 pm at the Viewing Area of the Justice Cecilia Muñoz Palma Museum.

The speaker for this event is Beatrix Aileen Sison, RPsy CSCLP. She is the past president and one of the Founding Board Members of the Philippine Association for Child and Play Therapy.

This activity is open to all professionals and staff (especially social workers, child protection officers, psychologists, counselors) who assist children who plan or are on the process of filing a case.  We want to equip them in further addressing the emotional, socio-psychological needs of victims of abuse and exploitation and their families who have their cases filed at the courts or who are still contemplating on filing a case.

The lecture is complementary with our ongoing monthly Kids and Teens Court Awareness Program (KTCAP), a psycho-educational session for child victims and witness of abuse and exploitation who will eventually testify in court. It aims to lessen their fear in going to the court thereby improving their participation in the court process.

Interested participants can register for PhP 350 inclusive of snacks and lecture kits. Register here. Limited seats.
