Message from our scholar:
“Entering an all-girl school wasn’t even in my dreams when I was a young girl… but now, I am enjoying and very proud being a Scholastican.
My parents were separated since I was little so my mother is the only one who is supporting me with my studies. She’s the only one who earns for our living which is not enough to sustain our daily necessities and my needs in school. That’s why I am very thankful to St. Scholastica’s College, Manila and Justice Cecilia Muñoz Palma Foundation for helping me out in my studies.
I can say that being an academic scholar of St. Scho and JCMP Foundation is one of my biggest achievements in life. It is very challenging, indeed, but I will do my best to prove that I am deserving enough to this kind of opportunity of being a scholar.
I am very proud to say also that Justice Cecilia Muñoz Palma High School, my Alma Mater, really helped a lot for me to where I am right now. This is where I started dreaming and achieving my visions in life. Especially to our dear principal, Miss Juanita Alajar.
Now, I am taking up Bachelor of Arts and Sciences Major in Mass Communication and I believe that four years from now, I will be graduating from St. Scho. I am also an active member of Communication Society, the official organization of Mass Communication at St. Scho.
I have met a lot of new friends and people whom, I believe, will help me to become a better individual.
I know that this is just the beginning of my long quest, but, I will give my best to prove that I deserve being a Scholastican and I am worth enough to be a scholar of St. Scholastica’s College in Manila and the Justice Palma Foundation.”
